Despite Caleb's desire to PARTY all night long on Friday, and my subsequent one hour of sleep, we had a great visit from Robin's dad this weekend. He came to visit his new grandson, and we all got to go pick out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.

We had a great time, and Caleb had a great time, cause he got to sleep the entire time we were dragging him around lookin for pumpkins. Well, except for when Mom and Dad were making him pose in ridiculous poses in search of the "Cute Photo". Note the photo below as evidence #1.

I then went to church for our fall celebration. We had 29 Baptisms, over 50 new members, and a TON of Child dedications. I got to baptize 5 of my students, which is always such a blessing for me as a youth pastor. I got to baptize one young lady along side her father, and then baptize her best friend who she started bringing to church, who's parents were baptized earlier in the evening by our senior pastor. Then got to watch my buddy Nick (also our Jr. High Pastor) baptize a couple Jr. Highers. It was a very cool night, and I love getting to be a part of students declaring their faith and commitment to Christ in the act of Baptism.
Then got home to BBQ some burgers with my family and watch the Red Sox win game 6 of the ALCS, forcing a game 7 on Sunday at Fenway. That was nice.
Then we had a great morning at burn on Sunday, it's really great to see the students getting it, being interested, and following along. Especially since we're going through the book of Ephesians.
Then, there was this.

The Red Sox are headed to the World Series...Again! Man it feels good to type that. The beat out the Cleveland Indians to move on to face the Colorado Rockies, who I blogged about earlier this month. Luckily the Rockies have had some time to cool off, literally, since they were practicing in a snow storm on Saturday! They were hot coming into, and all through the playoffs. It'll be a good series, but I think the Sox can do it again. Wouldn't that be nice, 2 times in 4 years. Go Sox!
